It is a highly efficient advanced thermal insulation material, made by rigid core material and out barrier film envelope. It’s characterized by high insulation performance with less weight, which could obstruct the heat transmission. Now VIP is the most advanced insulated material in the world.
SEND EMAIL CHAT NOWVacuum insulation panel (VIP) is a kind of the most advanced thermal insulation material. The air evacuated rigid core is sealed with the film to prevent heat leaks. Comparing with the conventional insulation material, VIP panels provide five to ten times higher thermal insulation performance under the same thickness. It often used in the industries that required for limited space, such as cold chain logistics, medical packaging and transportation, fire prevention and insulation, household appliances, and more.
MEVAC® VIP GF is mainly composed of three parts: glass fiber core material, film and desiccant, which are obtained through vacuum extraction under reduced pressure.
Outer Barrier
The lifetime and performance of VIP panels depends on the quality of outer barrier or envelope material.
Inner Core Material
Super fine fiberglass panel (fiberglass diameter around 2~4u).
The core has the small contact face and low thermal conductance, which also can support the panel walls to prevent VIPs surface retracted or hollow under vacuum.
Getter/ Desiccant
The getter is often inserted to core material to absorb gases and moisture that released by the core material and slowly penetrated through the barrier during VIPs application, thereby to keep vacuum conditions and high vacuum level inside VIPs.
