M200 insulation board is mainly composed by fumed silica, and other components like opacifiers and fibers. It is used as the core of vacuum insulation panels (abb. for VIP). M200 VIP have a very low density as well as the lowest possible thermal conductivity. The VIP based on M200 offers the longest service life among all other available core materials. The application temperature range is wider and the performance is more stable.
